A large house, rich in history, situated on a beautiful property, surrounded by natural beauty, unspoiled wildlife, and birdsong; stunning sunsets and terrific views. The house is sectioned off as residential and guest quarters. There is ample parking on the east side, where you are provided a private entrance, with separate keyless entry to the house along with locked access to your rooms. The bedrooms are comfy, spacious and each room is individually climate controlled, with television and FREE WII-FI. Check it out! All welcome amenities after a great day exploring all there is to offer in this gem of nature nestled in the county of Carlton, Parish of Aberdeen, Glassville, NB. Your friendly hosts are Val and Herb and their gentle and loveable menagerie of pets. One visit will convince you that this is the perfect ‘home away from home’. Enjoy a generous home-cooked breakfast with coffee/tea to get you started on your day and upon your return, gather with others in the common area where you can dine, play games or just relax. Enjoy creating your own hot meal in the slow cooker. There is also a toaster oven, microwave, fridge with ice maker so you can store your own cold beverages and food of choice. In good weather enjoy a BBQ; we provide plates, condiments, cooking utensils, picnic table and fire-pit for evening entertaining.
Bedding is provided and the shared bathroom accommodations include a heated floor, shower and towels. Just bring your own toiletries. In the summer you can sit outdoors and trade stories or just enjoy the clear, evening skies with spectacular stars and listen to the crickets.
