NOTICE
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing this site and any pages thereof, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below, which may be modified by The Lost Mitten B and B from time to time. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions below, do not access this site, or any pages thereof.
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Booking and cancellation terms and conditions are deemed as expressly approved by all customers when they initiate reservations and before any booking can be completed. Your contract is with the proprietors of The Lost Mitten B and B. It is the responsibility of this association to provide you with the products or services you have booked. Specific terms and conditions of booking and cancellation are available to all customers during the booking process that is integrated within this website. WE reserve your room with the understanding that there is a 50% non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking.
GUEST POLICY:
Children must be under the supervision of a family adult member at all times. We do not allow family pets. The Lost Mitten B and B does have family pets, please do not approach unless you have permission and are accompanied by the owner. WE ask our guests to treat each other, our property and home with respect and reserve the right to remove anyone who disregards this.
FORCE MAJEURE
We cannot accept any liability where the bed & breakfast booking could not be fulfilled due to circumstances which we could not, even with due care, have foreseen or avoided. Such events may include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, strikes or other industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, act of God, terrorist activities, technical problems with transportation, closures of airports, ports and/or ferries, quarantine, epidemics, weather conditions, government action or other events outside our control.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This site is provided by The Lost Mitten B and B, is on an “as is” and “as available” basis. You expressly agree that use of this site is at your sole risk. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials, or bed & breakfasts included on this site. The Lost Mitten B and B does not warrant that such items are complete, accurate, reliable, current or error-free. We do not warrant that this site, its servers, or e-mail sent from services on behalf of www.lostmittenbandb.com are free of viruses or other harmful components. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of this site. The Lost Mitten B and B, takes any complaints received very seriously. If you have cause for complaint during your stay that cannot be satisfied by dealing directly with the bed & breakfast manager or if you have a complaint about any aspect of our booking process or services please write or e-mail us, using the contact details provided on this site, and we shall try to resolve the matter quickly and confidentially.
APPLICABLE LAW
The contract and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Brunswick, Canada with exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute in connection with such terms and conditions or use of the website.
SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY
We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time and you should therefore visit www.lostmittenbandb.com, regularly to view recent changes. We know that you care how information about you is used. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2017.The information about you is collected if you make a booking and includes your:
Name, Email and Phone number. All credit card information is in person and will be kept confidential and secure. DO NOT send credit card or banking information to our servers, email or contact form. E-transfers are accepted and governed and protected by the individual banking institution of choice. The software we use encrypts all your personal information so that it cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We will not pass your information to any third parties. This site does not use cookies to trace the patterns of behaviour of visitors. However first party cookies are used to improve the quality of navigation experienced by site visitors and Google analytics.
